Drawn In To New Fashion....Aint We All?

When you hear the word fashion what does it mean to you? Are you the type of person that doesn’t really care? Or are you the type that thinks fashion is everything?

Allow me to get straight to the point, we all cant afford Jimmy Choos or the latest D&G, although some of like to think or picture ourselves in as the next entrepreneur or maybe one day walking in the shoes of P Diddy, its just not happening right now. Fact is most of us don’t really care about that side of fashion, unless you’re a David Beckham or the Beyonce type. Would you really want them to be trend setters and you the follower?

How about flipping the switch for once and becoming a leader in trend setting?

Fashion says a lot about us, whether your from North London or Birmingham. Fashion tells an outsider who you are, and where you come from you, for example, we can all tell the difference between an American and Londoner. Whether you like it or not, you are fashion. Why would you need top designers determine what you should wear and look like? “Compose your own fashion and set a trend, I shop at most of the exclusive boutiques on Brick Lane and in Camden market, having my own style makes me feel more confident in myself, and people love me for being me”. says Amy from East London.

We all have a uniqueness about us, weather your into fashion or not. Fashion does shape our personalities. Big baggy clothes suggest that we are shy and would rather not to be noticed, bright, bold, and short clothing suggest that were attention seekers or just have loud personalities. So where do you stand?

London is one of the most diverse cities in the world; we gather ideas and inspiration off one another. So look around you, and discover who you are. So the last question that remains is, are you a leader or a follower?
