1. What have you been up to lately?

I've been on holiday lately so I've been chilling out and checking out the DJ's abroad. I've also recorded a new mix CD called strictly garage which I am giving out for free. (Email DJRK@Hotmail.co.uk with your full name and address for yours!). And last week I enrolled at college on the Music Tech ND so I'll be getting more into producing soon.

2. Where did the name Ryder DJ come from?

Well boy, long story cut short, its a mixture of a mates suggestions and my suggestions.

3. Who do you rate most in the scene at the moment?

On the UKG scene:

DJ: DJ EZ is always gonna make this list but Cameo is making some big movements at the moment.

Producer Delinquent: ... There ain't many tunes produced by Delinquent that ain't in my record bag!

4. Who would you most like to work with?

I'd love to go B2B with EZ, that would be sick!

5. What has been the biggest highlight in your career?

I don't know what the biggest was but when I used to run Heated FM back in the day, we had Merk Dem B2B SLK B2B Section 18 and bare MC's in the place, boy we got so many listeners that day!

6. What are we gonna be seeing from you in the future?

Ryder DJ Productions, a record label, more club work, more mix cd's, got bare planned trust!

7. What advice would you give to any other DJ's who are trying to make it big?

Keep practicing, every night, you can ALWAYS get better. Send out bare mix cd's, DJ on as many stations as you can. If you are good, then the only way to get ''big'' is promotion. It's bare work, every DJ is in the same boat because theres so many DJ's trying to make it. Also don't copy another DJ's mixing sound, be unique, thats what works!
